Rama is a true yogini, a grand dame of modern western Yoga, who has for decades been a cultural leader unifying people in order to make the world more peaceful, beautiful, and loving. I was first introduced to Rama Vernon through her peace work in the Soviet Union in the 1980’s, where she traveled dozens of times to help bring unity to the world. I truly believe that her efforts were influential in the dissolution of the USSR and the fall of the Iron Curtain in 1989. Her public talks on yogic virtues have been among the most skillfully and beautifully presented teachings that I have ever heard on the subject. She absolutely has embodied the Yoga of life for many, many years.
Rama has given so much to the world in the name of Yoga and true unity.

When it comes to the dissemination of Yoga in America Rama Vernon is like the Vedas, all paths lead back to her. I am so grateful for her courage, insight and knowledge that inspired me and so many others along the way.
