Morgan J Curtis
Morgan started practicing yoga in 2003 while in college in Colorado. She immediately discovered the calming benefits of practicing asana and pranayama and took up a regular practice. Her first teacher deftly melded the physical and non-physical aspects of yoga, and Morgan seeks to do the same, incorporating pranayama, chanting, meditation, and philosophy into her teaching. In an effort to take her understanding of yogic texts to a deeper level, she started studying Sanskrit in 2010. Over the last several years, Morgan has studied with Ana Pilar Cruz, Craig Williams, Gary Kraftsow, Mirka Scalcow Krafstow, and Stan Hafner. Currently, she is studying with Debbie Mills of the Lotus Center for Yoga and the Healing Arts and continues to study Hinduism and yoga philosophy. Morgan encourages students to connect to their inner teacher and attend to the metaphors that unfold through their practice.
